The second annual HVS Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference & Operations Summit welcomed over 200 people and confirmed its ability to successfully bring together the region’s most distinguished hospitality leaders. On November 8th and 9th at the Atlantis Resort, HVS CHICOS presented expert panels on key issues relevant to today’s Caribbean hotel market. The conference’s theme, Accessing International Investment, was well-received by attendees both local and foreign. A special lunch presentation showcased the tremendous success the four CHICOS Task Forces have made since the inaugural 2011 conference in tackling direct challenges to the Caribbean tourism industry.
The positive reception from last month’s premier conference continues to emerge, and HVS is on the path to organizing CHICOS 2013. With the strong focus on tourism in the Dominican Republic, CHICOS will undoubtedly continue to attract key players in the industry and create lasting, innovative relationships to strengthen the region and those involved in the market.
